Zero Administration for Windows
   Abbreviated ZAWS. A Microsoft-led initiative designed to lower the total cost of ownership of Windows-based network clients in the corporate world.
   ZAW hase volved over time and now focuses on three main areas:
   • Installing an operating system on a new computer or on a new hard disk in an existing computer
   • Deploying applications from central servers to the desktop
   • Distributing modifications or upgrades to applications
